I acn understand what Neelam is going thru. Nothing as drastic as her loss happened to me but I have seen some of my best friends in constant sorrow pain or anguish. A man who is a model of character loses jobs (forced to quit) bcz he is so upright. A woman who is kind and capable gets cheated by her husband and his family. Another gets repeated waves of distress calls when she has reconstructed family and needs rest and recuperation.

Many in India tell me it is all the sins of previous deeds (of previous births) that these very nice people are paying for.

I just can't accept that logic. Yes my acceptance does not make a difference to the operation of laws, I know.

But it is painful. If there has been a greater reality than 'God' it is pain. Only those who have goe thru it and found no respite can understand it.

My commiseration to Neelam. Indian Courts and Society just cannot understand respond appropriately to her sorrow.
