Yes but when I remembered the cheap shows for the "Osiris Tomb" or "Khufu Pyramid's Secret Door" issues in the past, the only thing I expect now is a new fiasco. Hawass loves to pose in front of the TV cameras for sure and this way he probably raises funds too, while dismissing all the alternative studies and theories on Egypt's antiquities, in a very orthodox and conservative way.

As flamboyant and show-offy as he is, you have to admit that he's been really good for Egyptian antiquities management. They've gotten SO much of their stuff back from world museums. I think everyone's a little scared of him
