America is doomed by our intolerance of criticism. No matter how many pictures are published of Americans torturing prisoners, America still expects everyone to look the other way. Kinda weird. Hopefully our next president won't be so bizarre when it comes to flaunting our morals while at the same time proclaiming them. Don't tell me the Canadians (gov't, not people) are becoming poodles a la Tony Blair! Makes me ashamed to call myself a Canadian. Our Prime Minister is a Bush brown noser. When you are ashamed of the true all is lost. For all my Canadian friends who have been saying this to me for the last 7 years... This is so shameful it makes me ashamed to even come from a country bordering Canada! What were you guys thinking when you voted for a President that so flagrantly flaunts public opinion and lacking in any reasonable standards of right and wrong! Now when I travel, I can't even lie and say I'm from Canada when I meet swarthy people who frighten me, ore Europeans who look down on me! Canada, you may still have your public health care, and your internationally respected public education system, and your clean, efficient cities with low crime rates and an ethnic rainbow of immigrants...
