Lego is an Art form. I wonder if Lego can come up with a few shapes that can give artists more latitude in their work. Considering the publicity Lego gets from this Art, they could also enable customised colours for proven, or established artists. Return the favour. They are always surprising. Still Lego works, they probably see no reason to make something so simple get too complicated.
