Godfrey Daniel says: ...and no audio on the piano.. could it be any worse? i would ask if she's lost her mind but watching that video makes it quite clear that she has. my goodness! Oh dear....and the grunts...oh dear oh dear oh dear...I need to erase the past 2 minutes of my life!! One of the benifits of Dial-up! I couldn't load it hahaha Man, what was that all about?? How funny. She let her hair down. LOL Gotta give her credit - I think it was a great spoof and a way to say farewell without the "finnicky" broadcast appearances. Maybe she was showing people that she has a sense of humor after so many years of portraying her image as "professional and serious." I didn't know she was retiring? Better to go with humor than a memorial notice, like some of the good and long time anchors have been doing recently. Suppose you could say "at least she was able to say goodbye." The concept was a good one. And that's where the good part ended. I do feel for her though. Seems that it was done live, and despite what must have been a tech problem that left her acapella (an imposibility for someone who can't sing), she pressed on. |
