I just found out that shower(plastic) curtains are causing a lot of cancer! so took mine down and have draped curtains and turn shower head in slightly, it works just great!

In short, Bisphenol A (BPA) is used in many polycarbonate plastics (found in tableware and storage containers) and epoxy resins (lacquers that coat many food cans and bottle tops). The problem: BPA can migrate from containers to food, and studies in animals suggest that, at least for fetuses, infants, and children, exposure to BPA may be harmful. During the week of April 14, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration launched a task force <A target="new" href="http://cerhr.niehs.nih.gov/chemicals/bisphenol/BPADraftBriefVF_04_14_08.pdf">to explore BPA</A> but isn’t currently suggesting an all-out ban.
