Are Ethanol's costs that hidden? Extra (perhaps masive) demand for what is one of our biggest feed crops WILL cause higher prices. Even at the tiny tiny experimental levels we're producing now, it's driving corn prices up.

China just banned all new Ethanol refineries. From my point of view, ethanol is DOA.

The cost of petrol will continue to rise as it is a finite resource. This will make ethanol viable, cost wise. Cars are being made that can run on up to 100% ethanol with no associated problems (if you can believe a car manufacturer.)
