The governor of West Virginia and others are now seeking to rescind this designation. The question is, why? Answer, they do not want to remember and call attention to that conflict where the State government took an anti-union position, and applied armed force in that cause, looked the other way while a pro-Union law enforcement officer was murdered (see above clip), and therefore falsely accused the miners of "treason" against the State. When the state did what they did, and called in the Feds (who bombed them) they became a tyrannical government--i.e. not a government "of the people", which the State constitution states have power, nor defending their rights, while obstructing ... |
