laceym says: More love from the Westboro Baptist Church Damn. At first I thought it was a parody, a joke or something. But these folks are for real. It's scary. Apparently their god of love is really the god of hate. And they don't mind saying so! (Religious fanatics are a cancer in the world.) To take such a song of love and humanity and turn it into something so loathsome, is a crime. God hates the world? In the Bible I know, it says; "For God so LOVED the world..." These poor people. May God have mercy on their souls. I feel so sorry for the kids being brought up in this cult. And it is a cult TN. Damn. At first I thought it was a parody, a joke or something. But these folks are for real.It took me a while to cop on. TG, I read your comments as I was aghast. I had posted earlier today and started to wonder The "eye for eye" version of Christianity as pontificated by the 'moral majority' is the entire fault, IMO. "Hang 'em high" doesn't seem to work. Maybe if the 'moral majority' practised what Jesus Christ preached they'd find solutions. So swap the old '10' commandments for the 10 Beatitudes. LOVE [b]... Another perfect example of religion gone a·muck. (Religious fanatics are a cancer in the world.) I completely agree with you AcesLucky... I would even go one step farther and replace the word "fanatics" with "people". What? I don't see a problem here... they are practicing the bible exactly how god is presented, right? |
