Godfrey Daniel says: I think most of us tend to clip and share stuff that we've just found and is new to us. I often take for granted that everyone knows about apps that I have used for a long time and deem essential. Well, this is not good. So here is Process Explorer, an app I use daily and find indispensable. [note: I meant to remove this line from the clip: Here are some other handle and DLL viewing tools available at Sysinternals: If you go to the source the tools mentioned are listed] Well, I second this. It's the ultimate task manager. Thank you Godfrey, a most useful utility Looks like a good one! very useful indeed...thanks....I previously had to google all my process names to find out what app would typically be running named process. Also, do check out sysinternals, they offer a lot of very good Freeware. I recommend Autoruns & some other utilities I clipped here. And don't let the name "Microsoft" mislead you. I was suprised to arrive at Microsoft too. Apparently they bought SysInternals since my last visit. |
