The only sentence in the article that makes any sense is this one: "Mark Carver, a top aide to Mr. Warren, resigned as an adviser to Left Behind Games on June 5, 2006, and asked that the game developer remove the Purpose Driven Ministries name brand from its web site." The question is Jatfla how did the messages of peace with the misinterpreted apocalyptic vision from the Book of Revelation, which has been misrepresented by modern right-wing theologians and televangelists to justify U.S. military actions in the middle east to name a few things sink to a low like this? I don't see "messages of peace" in the book of Revelation or "right-wing" theologians *justifying* military action in the ME. I don't put teachers of the Scriptures who happen to be on the television and "televangelists" in the same category. Televangelists are 90% hucksters whom the Bible condemns. jatfla, hon. Did you read the entire series of articles?? All 7? I did. Some of it seems and may even be inflammatory, but alot of it is references with downloadable emails, communications and censure from christian groups, too. Also, I think it's important to note that some of the game's current proponents are among the very folks that censured violence in children's games. I'm not freaking out on christianity in general. I thought the articles were pretty informative regarding a few groups, how mega marketing is being used to fund religious organizations, and some of their political and secular goals.
