Japanese tourists seem to always get caught up in something. Even in their home country. And I didn't know they had bears in Japan...I had heard of Asian brown/ black? bears, but not in Japan. Hell, I think Asia and bears, I think Panda although Pandas at one time were thought to be in the family of raccoons--not any more .......
