What about my preferred remedy -- sleep until it goes away? (Unfortunately this is difficult when you have a job, and even more so when you have kids... but still.)

LOL! I like sleeping a cold off if I have fever and a headache. Having a runny nose makes me hate sleeping though... I can't sleep if I can't breathe properly!

I have the same problem, but NyQuil always does it for me...
