Whether most psychopaths are truly psychotic beneath their affable, charming, manipulative mask is dubious, as Cleckley later recognized, though some may in fact, like severe borderline, paranoid or <A class="pt-basics-link" title="Psychology Today looks at Schizotypal Personality Disorder" href="http://www.psychologytoday.com/conditions/schizotypal-personality-disorder">schizotypal</A> personalities, be compensated psychotics.
