I've been slowly loosing disk space on my c: drive. I have it partitioned at 10 gig and the remaining at 60+ gig. A couple of weeks ago, I updated my firewall software and didn't know that the problems I was about to encounter were related to Zone Alarm, until tonight. Since the update, I have been receiving pop up warnings that I was running out of disk space on C. I moved some stuff to E (the other partition) and cleaned up C to the tune of 1.9 available gig (C is always maintained at 2 gig available). In a matter of an hour or less after achieving this goal, I was down to 199 mb. The above is the result of researching my hard drive for huge files with current dates; and then a google search on the file names, which are listed in the clip.

Tylast,
I'm not entirely sure how the log grows. My understanding from other google search reads, is that the disk logging drives the available space down. While I was scanning my computer for a possible virus, Windows popped up to tell me that my 1.7 gig had vanished to 143 mb. Soon afterward, the pop up icon vanished from the system tray and the virus scanning completed.

I ended up with 1 medium risk - SAHAagent (tracking malware) and my 1.7 gig returned. However, it was slowly dissipating again. Curious about the files I had found, the subsequent google search revealed the Zone Alarm prospects. I think the disk logging doesn't entirely chew up the space. It must go so far and the...

Tvdebug.zip is located in the winnt internet logs file. This is apparently a "compression bomb" according to an Avast scan. The reason Zone alarm does not properly handle this issue, is because doing anything to the file, activates the bomb, and your system resources are immediately drained. It's essentially an override, due to memory availability. Try using Avast instead of Zone alarm. It does not actually open the file, and you can find out where it is. Especially considering my Zone cracked, & this bomb is in a Zone Alarm related file..... It's time for change. On my computer, it also seemed to have repeatedly propigated win32.iroffer.af, identified by spybot s & d, with an asso...
