It's so hard to be controversial these days. Companies think their pPR men have done a good job when their advertising gets advertising.
Benneton had it easy. They advertised when it was much easier to offend people.
Seems like the only people who aren't likely to see the ads, are the few Italians who haven't managed to get one of those magazines.
It could also be that anyone found wearing those sunglasses would be guilty of committing a fashion crime.
