What a great list. That's some pretty cool stuff. Years ago when I lived in Atlanta, I worked with a woman who's father was a fanatic Coca-Cola collector. He had built a rather large shed in his backyard to house his vast collection. He had more Coca-Cola things than I ever imagined existed. She once gave a few close friends an address to a private web page with dozens of photos of the things inside his collection. It was amazing! Having lived in Atlanta, Georgia (the home of Coca-Cola), I have a few small Coke things (they are everywhere in Atlanta) ... but I find it fascinating that someone would spend that much time and money on something like collecting Coca-Cola mementos. To each his own, I guess. fascinating that someone would spend that much time and money on something like collectingI feel the same way about star trek and star wars fanatics. Talk about over the top Where does a collection stop being a hobby and start being a museum? There used to be a website called What A Collection where you could view peoples collections. I feel the same way about star trek and star wars fanatics. Talk about over the topI may or may not have a wee too many X-Files memorabilia. |
