And pride It would be amazing to get a picture of all 5 when they are full grown in a group shot! Beautiful! Yes! According to the article, zoo staff have nicknamed the pride "the gangsters". Here kitty-kitty-kitty!! ....kitty-kitty!! @kkatsteevns Careful, you keep calling them and they might come. The kat in your handle wouldn't bias you would it? I have two wonderful cats myself and I have been scratched enough times when my calico female was young to know that even an ordinary cat deciding on an all out attack is a fearsome thing. By the way, she is really very good and considerate about not scratching me now which is a very good thing because sleeping on my lap or on top of my chest is something she demands from me a lot of the time. Cats are nice, but I can't use the word "wonderful" to describe the species. They are cute, cuddly, and playful and nice to have around. They also make good little heaters when it's cold. But I don't like cleaning up after them. And they shed on the clothes you need to wear that day.And they rearrange things when you are not home. Did I mention they always invite their friends over for dinner? I'm not fond of cleaning up the litter box either, the extra hair is definitely an inconvenience, and without a doubt they are shortening my life health wise;,I mean I am not the worlds great house keeper and my cat loves to take dust baths often carting that extra dust right in more or less layered in her hair. Still I cannot imagine ever having lived without her or the Siamese cat that adopted me. This is probably because I live alone, pretty happily actually, but it is true that pets are wonderful for the spirit! Yup, they are definitely good for the spirit, I agree. I doubt they can shorten your life.I know I have shortened mine much more than any cat could ever do. My cats have given my life a little more length , I think, surely. Really now that I think about it, it was irresponsible for me to even suggest that idea in the first place. I mean I know myself what I mean, and I know that I do not mean any dislike for the cats. But, and this is where I was completely wrong, a reader probably wouldn't understand that. And thus I would not be the friend to cats that I wish to be. Thanks for correcting me. The reason I was less sensitive to saying such a thing is that I know, unlike a reader who would not know, that I love my cats enough that it wouldn't matter, I would still love them and it would be worth it. As I said, I can't imagine living without them! I won't tell your cats if you don't. My lips are sealed. |
