I was using a credit card but the machine was giving me problems, saying the card was denied.

At the Frankfurt airport, I waited anxiously. Bound to a wheelchair due to an accident in Barcelona that left me with a fractured pelvis, I was dreading the nine-hour flight to Toronto.

After a brief conversation this wonderful man pulled two upgrade coupons from his billfold, handed them to my partner, and suggested we would surely be more comfortable in business class.
