I don't think it's good to put out and promote ideas about presidents being killed (even Republican presidents). Doing so makes it more prone to actually happening. Assassinations are not only murder but a great, great crime against the will of the people. You haven't watched it, have you? It's not promoting assassination, but doing the exact opposite. Watch it all the way through and you'll see. How it all ends is quite sobering and thought provoking It's about consequences. The outcome will surprise you. Don't judge until you've actually SEEN it. Besides, I don't believe in that kind of silly censorship. It's fiction with a twist of cruel reality mixed in. It's set in the past. It has been shown on TV too and that's good enough for me. The clip is in two parts. The top link goes to youtube and where the director Gabriel Range explains it himself. The second half of the clip is the film itself. |
