Chickens! It's actually called fetus in fetu. Eric, I recommend not doing a google image search on this.

I love Discovery Health Channel!

Also common is the case of two seperate twins where the first dies and is reabsorbed in the first trimester. A good reason not to have early ultrasounds in the first 3 months because the images can be shocking since so few people are aware of it. Usually by the 2nd trimester it is not recognizable as a twin. In rare cases the twin is not totally reabsorbed and the remaining tissue it is delivered during child birth , but is rarely recognizable as an infant. It is not discussed for good reasons.

Now I'm not looking for the link for this because it was bad enough when I first found about it. And no I am definitely not going to see that video. It does make scenes from "Total Recall" seem a lot more plausable eh?

I've seen it all...My wife dosn't let me at the tv remote and she loves to watch discovery health. Anyway, it is quite interesting information, but def quite disturbing images. If you have a strong stomach and believe in learning everything you can in your lifetime, I'd highly recommend learning more about it.

djkraz, my husband really doesn't want to watch as much DHC as I do, but he's a trooper and sits through it all with me.

He really didn't want to watch The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off, which was pretty interesting.

But as for fetus in fetu, here's movie for you. It's not really fetus in fetu, but it's close.

mousie, I don't really want to watch it much either, but it seems like i always do...I also saw the boy whose skin fell off, and though interesting, I can think of many other things, that wouldn't upset me and my stomach, that i would have rather watched.
