That's an emotional plea. Selling something expensive to feed poor doesn't end the poverty nor it would get rid of the hunger for those who are hungry. I can't believe people pay attention to such people and headlines.

Here's a better idea. Sell Michael Moore's mansion in Michigan. Then empty out his refrigerator and feed the republic of Somalia.

I agree with that actually.

Still, can't say I never thought about this myself---selling the Vatican---seemed so simple. I was much younger then of course.
I understand now the Pope doesn't 'own' the Vatican, and cannot 'sell' it, lol. Now I feel that having a place of such beauty and treasures for all to enjoy is a real gift in many ways.

(also--I don't pop things I don't like , just as I don't expect others to pop mine if they don't like it. I notice you ...

What I pop and don't is none of your business (you knew it was coming). I don't think wiccantexan takes it personally when I don't pop her clips, nor should you. And if you must insist, my comment actually suggest why I didn't pop this clip. This in-action has nothing to do with wiccantexan's decision to clip the clip (and please for the future, try not to get into other people's business), I have acknowledged her clip by commenting on it, what have you done besides bringing irrelevant argument and straw man to it?
