In my own personal life I have taken action in the wrong direction, taken action in a total self-destructive manner, therefore I find this statement, to be the simply put TRUTH!

At the risk of sounding trite and glib, I know exactly what you mean, hahaha. We're a lot like the "superballs" my two cats love playing hockey with, in the sense of only being able to make the transition, from our stored potential to kinetic energy, once we truly hit the ground... only then can we bounce, eh?
I admire, and identify with, the courage you show in singing your own special tune, despite the friction. What a beautiful orchestra we make, when we all play the part we're meant to!
