dl211 says: [Medvedev later said Russia did not seek or fear a new Cold War and that it was up to the West to avoid it.] I swear, I really can't see Putin's lips move when Medvedev speaks, the sign of a true puppet master.. It is exactly when the macho bravado gets going when wars get started... Geesh. If this is allowed to happen then the next thing you know it will happen elsewhere. Southern California will secede and become a part of Mexico and south Florida will end up a province of Cuba. If this is allowed to happen then the next thing you know it will happen elsewhere. Southern California will secede...Or Kosovo even... Russia sure is showing the world that George Bush is an empty suite. Eight years of Bush have made the U.S. weak and now we are bullied by petrol-dictators. Russia sure is showing the world that George Bush is an empty suite. Eight years of Bush have made the U.S. weak and now we are bullied by petrol-dictators.Give me a break... Like the whimp Obama can/will/maybe/hopefully not/.... will do something other than raise the tax on imported Russian vodka. Maybe hold a huge rally, sing cumbya and pray for peace. You want war? Funny you malign Bush for starting two, make up your mind... You want war? Funny you malign Bush for starting two, make up your mind...My thoughts exactly Funny that you think I "malign" Bush for starting two wars. As if you knew my stand. But you don't. It was one stupid war that I was against - a personal vendetta sold on lies and fought for personal gain. And look where it got us? Weakened, pushed around, and broke. Your pride and ideology blinds you to the reality of just how bad Bush has left us. That flag that you hide behind - it aint yours alone. WASHINGTON (CNN) -- In a major victory for the White House, the Senate early Friday voted 77-23 to authorize President Bush to attack Iraq if Saddam Hussein refuses to give up weapons of mass destruction as required by U.N. resolutions.
The left apparently thinks GWB is a lot smarter than I think he is in orchestrating a phoney war. About as credible as the thinking of those who feel the 911 attacks were an inside job as well, pure lunacy. Blame it on the congressmen. Now Bush isn't even our commander-in-chief anymore. It is congress that rules the roost is it? Get your story straight will you? When there was a real man in the White House he had a sign on his desk that said "The Buck Stops Here" - now we have the Pass the Buck Administration. Well the American people are done with the lies and deceit of this gang of criminals. I may well vote Republican again, but it sure as hell wont be this election cycle. Get off the booze, maybe it will clear up your mind... Nice come back. Such logic really undercuts my argument. What argument? Very good - spoken like a true Bush fan. When you don't like the facts, just deny them. kmcolo - The point I was making was that Congress voted to authorize GWB to use force against Iraq. Since then about all the Dems who voted for it, have tried to wipe out that vote citing lies by GWB's about WMDs as their reasoning, just to appease the far left. I blame the Iraq war on Saddam and the UN, he's the dope that ignored the UN Sanctions for 12 yrs, he could have prevented this war, he could still be alive and he could still be in charge of Iraq if he wasn't such a dumbass. The UN could have acted but as is their custom, they choose to do nothing. Joe Liebermann stood by his initial vote and look what it got him, he was driven out of the party, what an organization! BTW I'm far from a Bush fan.... There is one commander-in-chief. They take responsibility for putting the lives of our men and women into harm's way. It was this president that sold this war. It is his responsibility - there is no running from it as much as he and his yes-men may want to try otherwise. All this distribution of blame just shows him to be all the weaker. And this "I'm far from a Bush fan" refrain is all the rage with the right at the moment. Funny that. ? I go back to my other statement. lay off the booze. Yup. You sure do. |
