I also suggest the book "In One day" (trying to verify the title) I read it once at an office and was amazed with statistical facts since then. It shows how much is consumed ny nations and also wasted. For instance, one of the illustrations shows an iceberg made out of Iceberg lettuce, and the Titanic running into it. The picture illustrates how much iceberg lettuce is consumed in just ONE DAY. Will post the ISBN number and exact title, have to dig around. Notice the lack of veggies on the American table. |
