Not many people know this, but Sarah Palin was the first Governor to extend benefits to same sex couples employed by the State of Alaska. I wish that these Prop 8 protesters would take the time to learn about Christianity and Christians before rpojecting their own bigotry onto them.

It's surprising how little the "world" knows about Christianity. Mostly it's the stero-typical portrayals seen in movies and television over the last 30 yrs. And of course, every foolish and hypocritical act committed by a prominent professing Christian is displayed for all to ridicule.

I can't even talk about the hate that motivated this arson.

It may never be known who did this or why; doesn't matter. It's just sad that churches in America...or any place of religious gathering and worship are subject to criminal activity.

You can't really blame people for having the wrong idea about Christians. So many of us don't even take our own spiritual lives serious. Many Christians want to preach about how everyone else is wrong but totally ignore their own sins. I am of the belief that the worst threat to Christianity are many of the "Christians" themselves. Many are either only holiday or Sunday Christians & several others are just like the Pharisees. I'm not trying to start anything I just had an observation.

I highly doubt that the arson had anything to do with Palin at all. It was probably just some delinquent kids up to no good. Now I sound like an old woman. Ugh.

`Note that Chief Steele said that the fire was being investigated as arson, not that it had been determined to be arson. When that finding is made is the time to look for places to point fingers.
