Found a "solution" to the disappearing blog parts problem, I think.

*cross-posted on the comments section of the "Issues with Dai.sy" blog: After updating and saving, you will notice that when you hit the edit button some of the text you previously entered have moved. If you (patiently) delete all the extra space you will find that less text (or no text, if you're lucky) will be erased.

That's interesting, because I've found the exact opposite to be the case when there is code involved.

With embedded items the original code is transformed into a single line. To add new video or flash audio player, go to the end of that line, and then go up 5 lines and add new embed code at that point. This will place most recent at top, and so far has elimated the problem of previous entry deletion.

I put the most recent updates at the top too and my older stuff got deleted. Weird. I guess we really should just wait for 'actual' improvements.

Did you remember to add the spacing? I've had no trouble since doing so. But, yeah, ity is a "work in progress".

I'm fine. Thanks Cat! Typhoons don't really affect most of our cities. Areas that are always hit hard by storms are our farming and fishing regions. I wish the government would do something to make the people's houses stronger, at least. It's never nice to hear news about the people who died.
