We do not serve any president, the president serves us.

The intent of the video is to get people to pitch in to help each other, to become involved in social programs instead of sitting on our backsides doing nothing but complaining.

The tenor of the video came off as we are supposed to serve our president, and placing this in front of children is absolutely wrong.

--dis,citizen -- They keep "coming off" as wrong in the same manner, same style, same intent. the phrase "to be of service",....especially "to Barack Obama"
I pledge to do anything I can to defeat the real meaning inside this video which is to create an aura of idolatry around Obama unlike any other president. Imagine in your head the name of any other president in their "pledges". Can you imagine the uproar?
"I pledge to be of service to George W.Bush".
