At
the Brothers screening, active members of the U.S. military and
veterans alike thanked all the producers, but the most poignant
testimonies were directed to Sinise for his outreach to the U.S.
military and victims of terrorism.
Retired Navy Rear Adm. Roy Hoffmann announced that when one of his friends awoke from surgery he saw Sinise watching over him.
One of the many projects Sinise cofounded is Operation Iraqi Children, an organization that helps U.S. troops and other Americans to save Iraqi children from squalor by providing school supply kits and other necessities.
Nahla Qader, a Sunni Muslim from Iraq, thanked him ...

As it turns out, a State Department official told Sinise about war victims in Afghanistan and Iraq. One
boy's arm had been blown off by terrorists, so Sinise paid for him to
get a prosthetic arm in the United States. When Qader and her family
gained asylum in the U.S., they had no credit or money, so he cosigned
on their apartment lease and paid their rent. Thus, Qader said she's
teaching her children to make sacrifices for others.
Why
is Sinise so generous to servicemen and people he's never met? He said

In a time of war, we should know who our people are and why they do it.
'xcuse me,but no one invaded America.Americans invaded a foreign country for fundamental reasons.Young Americans should NOT risk their lives.it's not a war about their country&freedom,it's a war about taking over another country, other ppls' freedom.it's a war the politicians decided to have, risking the young Americans' live.this is NOT a matter of patriotism.this is a matter of arrogance.Iraq doesn't want the U.S military in their territories, but the government continues beeing nosy&act "for the common good"i mean,WTHF?sorry Antara, but i had to let it all out!!i cannot stand the politicians hipocricy anym...

Sure...just like we invaded all of Europe and occupied their land and enslaved them to us and our way of life.

Geeeez......

There have been so many anti-American, anti-US military *movies* made over the last 40 yrs. that people, mostly young ones, wouldn't know patriotism or national self-preservation if it bit them.

You may be surprised at what you think you know....and how you came to "know" it.

Jatfla: I agree.

gyes this is my opinion&i just expressed it.never said it was the right one.that's just the way i feel.this matter has occured to me far too many times.every person should stand up for his land.of course we should defend our country with our own lives if it's threatened!now,i don't see U.S threatened.all i see is a country invading into another, standing out for her as a protege or pimper would.this war has begun because of imperialistic plans of gonverment,&not by the sense of "common good"as i hear in the media all the time.defending your country is another thing from attacking to a foreign country.this comment comes with the best intentions&mean no harm to anyone.this is just how i feel wh...
