Ist es sinnvoll, etwas zu subventionieren, was einfach nicht zukunftsfähig ist?
Die folgenden Punkte sind in den Petitionen aufgeführt, aber grundsätzlich ist es so, dass eine vegetarische Ernährung
(a)	den Welthunger beenden kann, weil die Viehzucht aufgrund 
ihrer Unwirtschaftlichkeit im Verbrauch
von Wasser, Getreide und Soja einen Wasser- und Nahrungsmangel verursacht – ganz zu schweigen von der Unwirtschaftlichkeit beim Strom- und Treibstoffverbrauch;
(b) Entwaldung, Bodenabtragung, Totzonen in den Ozeanen, Wasser- und Luftverschmutzung verhindern kann;
(c) die Kosten der Gesundheitssysteme drastisch reduziert (gehen Sie einfach in ein Krankenhaus und fragen Sie, wer dort Vegetarier - oder besser - Veganer ist);
d) die Liste lässt sich fortsetzen
