Rowling sold for nearly $4 million at auction Thursday, with the proceeds to benefit her children's relief organization.</DIV> <BR /><DIV> Online retailer Amazon, the winning bidder at Sotheby's auction house, now finds itself in the unusual position as a buyer rather than sellers of books as owner of one of only seven copies of Rowling's "The Tales of Beedle the Bard," which is leather bound with silver mounts.</DIV> <BR /><DIV> The book originally had been expected to sell for about $100,000.
