I can certainly make the case that in some cases secrecy is necessary, and why in the world would Congress give two hoots who the President it talking to for advice. Any President.

But making a huge issue of it for years and then rolling right over and invoking the same principle - that takes huge gall and lots and lots of hypocrisy.
