I thought google would be number one. Yahoo, is probably 1 because of the yahoo answers thing. It's embarrassingly addicting.

Geocities?? Who uses Geocities?

Interesting. I'm surprised that Adobe is on the list. I mean, I use their software all the time, but I never visit their website ... Does my browser somehow get hijacked whenever I use Flash plugins or something?

Man, I'm with Arif-- in shock over geocities. I don't think I've even come across a geocities site since the 90s. Weird.

my.yahoo.com is very popular as a start page which generates tons of traffic.
mail.yahoo.com is very popular and has many more users than gmail.
yahoo has deals with the SBC ISP, which drives more traffic to them.

Its not surprising at all that yahoo is still number 1.

Like enbar said, I'm amazed Adobe is on the list. Could have something to do with the reader.

Re Yahoo, MSN, and AOL, although hard to believe, there are a surprising number of people who have no idea that they can change there start page, or have no start page--and thus those three being at the top.
