Interesting clip... does anyone remember....is Ethopia known as the "cradle of civilization?" or am i getting it mixed up with somewhere else? lollipop10 – as I remember, Ethiopia is called "the cradle of humanity", but the phrase "the cradle of civilization" tends to refer to the Fertile Crescent, Mesopotamia. (Cue the B52's: "But there's one thing / That I do know / There's a lot of ruins / In Mesopotamia!" Link to video, which it won't link live for some reason: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELGEZm4Trgc ) Thanks for setting me straight, Lexica, I think i did have it right in my head. I'll watch the video later, at home where i have sound. So much for those what claim that apes "stopped evolving" as a disproof of evolution. They never stopped evolving; they just adapted for a different niche. It could have as easily been them as us or vice versa. |
