The UI and software is better than the iphone, but the battery life is awful, mine only lasts from 9 am to 5 pm barely. I was using a Treo 755p which was checking email every minute, and it would last over a day and a half. Compared to the iPhone, the Pre is a much better deal, but I would wait til the 2nd WebOs device comes out later this year the Eos. If you know with Palm, the Treo 755p came out first, and then the Centro. The Centro was much cheaper, and better. It was faster, better battery life, but just a smaller screen.
