I suppose her father's recent death didn't make 8 year old Bindi Irwin resent the wildlife, but instead embrace her father's passion.

Nice to see that capitalism never fails...nothing like exploiting an 8 year old to get high ratings. this kid is 8 freaking years old...not sure her lack of fear of the wildlife is all that relevant (when i was 8 i thought i was Superman).

In the interview with Steve Irwin's widow they talked about this show. It was in production before his death. In fact, I think he was also getting footage for Bindi's show during the dive where he died.

Perhaps this is good therapy for her. Keeps her mind on a goal and yet allows her to still be in touch with what her father loved. Dunno.
