What do you prefer when cooking up your barbecue? Traditional charcoal or clean burning propane?

It has to be charcoal or preferably wood as it lends its flavour to the food especially from a fruit tree or oak and birch.
Propane also lends its flavour to the food which I don't find to be the most pleasant of tastes.
