If you ask me Deepti, just revamp the entire penal code to fit the 21st Century not 17th Century Colonial Times and pass an Uniform Civil Code Amendment which will basically ensure Equal Treatment for all.

While learning the IPC, CPC, CrPC etc in law college, it was quite shocking to note that they had hardly been amendmended since they were adopted by us from the Brits.
