I'm really not fond at all of all those annoying Vista popups that come up — they may not protect your computer any better because you get lazy clicking through them without reading, or you disable them entirely.

I'd like to see a source of this "total exploit" happening daily on Macs.

I'm cross-platform, but Vista has really disappointed me, from what I've seen thus far. In that 5-year gap, Apple's OS has advanced a lot more, and without the cumbersome historical baggage that still continues to sag Vista down.
