I would fight to the death to support women who do want this recognition by the state, although I don't agree. If they think this is the way to go, I refuse to be a negative impetus for them.

However, it amazes me that heterosexuals even want this form of state recognition. I query the focus on genitalia and the lack of focus on the quality of the sense of family. If you want to divide people (for your agenda) what better way than make them focus on irrelevant things.

I would marry, will marry, because my partner wants to. I respect that. And it may even mean something different to her than it does to me. That's fine, as long as we both focus on the sense of family and community.
