If you do the math, you'll see that she really is overweight (fat). Nintendo apologized just to protect their image. It sounds like the parents didn't handle it very well

No in fact shes not overweight - BMI should only to be used in adults not children where it is totally inacurate, it is also not accurate in pregant women, breast feeidng and very muscular people.
