more (at source): "If the reports are taken at face value then devices exist that do not use conventional reaction propulsion systems, they have a very wide range of speeds and are stealthy. I suggest we could use the technology, if it exists."

The internal debate in the MoD came to a head in 1995, when documents were made public revealing that UFO reports were routinely copied to specialist "Defence Intelligence" branches.

An exasperated intelligence office wrote to the UFO Desk: "I see no reason for continuing to deny that (Defence Intelligence) has an interest in UFOs.

The idea of UFO tourists is something our council has missed, they would come up with new ways of taking their money.

You would have to be able to travel a thousand times the speed of light and even then, your trip would take years and years.

Not necessarily. The way we travel now, is through space. In theory, it is possible to move through space faster than the speed of light, simply by condensing the space/time in front of a vehicle while simultaneously expanding it behind the craft, travelling in a so-called superluminal loophole. Another way is by artificially creating a vast gravitational field around any spacecraft, that would allow the ship to "bypass" vast areas of time/space, by simply skipping over it, a so-called wormhole. Even though we cannot do these things yet, it doesn't mean that some race of beings far advanced couldn't have the technology to do these things, so everything is possible.
