The funny part is those who are so eager to believe Bush is stupid that they were willing to believe Ford would make a car with an electrical outlet in the gas tank that would blow the car up.

I thought it was real. I did think the idea of designing a prototype so that it would be that dangerous sounded pretty strange, but, I mean, the guy said it in an interview. I guess it just never occurred to me that the CEO of Ford would allow himself to be quoted saying something like that if it weren't true. I'm just not used to big-shot businessmen having that kind of off-center sense of humor. Joke's on me I guess.

It didn't make sense, because that would be incredibly stupid of the manufacturer to make a car like that. So I never believed it. Who would have thunk it, the truth was with Bush on this one!

Besides, why lie or believe such stupid things when they are so highly illogical as to be improbable. Whoever jumped on this did not do themselves any favors.
