kkcapricorn says: Everything in the universe is connected and has it's own unique form of communication. I have heard this before. It isn't surprising, if you consider that all the atoms of everything are vibrating and circulating all the time, and that sound is caused by something vibrating... I wonder what it sounds like? Wouldn't that be something to hear. Its actually called ELF (extremely low frequency) and the frequencies of the brain are within its range When I was a music student, some of my colleagues could cheat on tests by comparing tones they were tested on with the hum of the fluorescent lights. Since we use 60Hz electricity in the US, most AC fixtures give off a pitch that is - if I recall - somewhere between a Bb and a B. I don't know if I wasn't good enough to make use of this, or if I just didn't have tests like that! We also traveled to an anechoic chamber, deep belowground, where hearing aids were tested. You walked in on a dock-like affair, to a small platform equidistant from floor, ceiling and side walls. Deep foam cones - maybe, 3 ft long - pointed at you from all 6 sides. And if everyone was quiet, all you would hear was the swish, swish, swish of blood pulsing gently through your ears. Music of the Spheres! OM It's so wonderfully Einstein-ian, how everything is energy. Reminds me of Genesis, where the first thing God creates is "light." Since energy is a modern concept (if I recall correctly, no older than the 19th c.), what else could the writer call it? How beautiful it all is! |
