"Shudder" Some of today's treatments seem archaic to me. I broke my leg (badly) and required surgery, as they wheeled me into the OR, I glanced at the wall and it resembled a torture chamber (or to be nice a tool wall).

That's why I always laugh when people say something like "I wish things were like back in the good old days". I wonder how long someone would enjoy going back when they realized there were no simple aspirin around or even toilet paper.

oortcloud, I think the same thing. Also TVs, hot and cold running water, things we now take for granted. It would be major culture shock.
