I received an email today from someone who read this clip, and opined that it was the fault of Robert Tapella is our current Public Printer, who was appointed by President Bush. This respondent claims it was Tapella's idea to outsource e-passports to soften the bottom line and "make more profits for the GOP". In doing so, he also created less jobs for working class "American" government employees. He advised, "Please check your facts before accusing liberals, conservatives and independents alike for making our country less safe. Both the American political parties are completely inadequate, but this mistake falls solely on our current Administration".

I still find it very hard to believ...

I still find it very hard to believe that such utter stupidity is possessed by a conservative. I think if one investigates, one would learn that the decision was made by one of those many liberals belonging to the previous administration that Bush so unwisely did not fire when he took office.

Such stupidity belongs in the rhelm of liberals and democrats.
