So in reply to this one clip of one misguided and delusional religious fanatic, you question Islam? My friend, almost all religions have their share of fanatics and misguided people who commit murder, rape, torture, etc, all in the name of their so-called religion.

Does that mean you should just sum it all up to being the religion's fault? Please, I've read about many incidents of Christians, Hindus, etc who have committed similar acts. But I don't conclude that those religions preach violence; because I've seen the good side of those religions too, and good people who do good deeds.

This above clip/article does of course sadden me. I read it today in the newspaper today and wondered what the hell this world is coming to. Islam truly is a religion of peace, but there are people who preach it the wrong way, and they do it to create fanatics to disrupt social order and to make everyone follow their backward ways. The only way to put an end to this is to regulate the teachings of Islam and have scholars teach it, and not uneducated mullahs preach it.

Anyways, enough about that. As for the person who posted the first comment, I just have to say: Think before you type next time please.

Brazilnut, if I was to be as ignorant as you, I would say the same thing about "Crusade" as you did about "Jihad". But of course, I know better, and do my own research instead of believing everything the media throws at me.

Please go read up on "Jihad" first, and then you will understand what I wrote in my previous reply. Jihad, like the Crusades, were carried out at a certain point of time in history. Unfortunately, this term is still being used today, by both sides mind you, to provide reasons for terrorism and what have you.

Some even refer to Jihad as the 6th pillar of Islam, which is absolute rubbish and not supported by the majority of Muslims.

And my first comment was referring to the first poster. You have proved your own ignorance by saying "In Islam has the concept of Jihad etc etc". I guess I should say "In your house, you have the concept of Fox News being an actual news channel..."
