this speaks to all who let George - Cheney.....make up the rules to suit their agenda- standing idly by and letting these things be written as being somehow- magically lawful- and making our country safer - is a crime too- Bush should have been extracted from office on the 12th of September 2001- too bad everybody was running around to scared out of their minds to think clearly and see this- i used to have a shirt that said "there's a terrorist behind every bush" I had those very thoughts when i saw the towers fall/heard of spying on U.S. citizens- saw troops sent to conquer imaginary weapons of mass destruction-all by design- somehow it seems to me- and the people in power too busy sitting on their hands not knowing what to do - is just as bad as following the orders- etc- it is a mess- and it doesn't speak very highly of those in supposed control- and members of the human race

Pelosi was just too quiet on the issues. I assumed ( I'm learning about US pols still) it was because it wasn't her job to speak out ( though all should have) or that she had no backing. Or that she saw herself as some sort of defacto Republican because Bush was one.
Keep pushing for action against them. The party is too defunct to help them, even if it wanted to.

The GOP demolished the Republic and the Democrats simply stepped out of the way of the wrecking ball, although some, like Feinstein and Rockefeller, gave it a really good push.
