Here is the U.S. we haven't heart much out St. Louis encephalitis in the last few years, but I'm sure its still around as the mosquitoes are still here in MO. A disease very similar to the West Nile virus which is also spread by mosquitoes.

You're right Satchamo, it probably is still around so be careful. Mosquitoes can carry a lot of bad things. I can't think of one thing that's good about them.
