Chicago columnist Richard Roeper wrote a column, prompted by a painting of a crucified rabbit, on how he didn't understand what rabbits and eggs had to do with the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I wrote him a letter telling him that they had nothing to do with it, but were assimilated Pagan fertility symbols. He never responded, either by letter or in his column. When you're dealing with some Christians, it's all about them (or Him).
